Christmas 2008

Well, I'm finally catching up on my blog. There are LOTS of posts below to make up for my lack of posts lately. Below are several Christmas pictures from all the different places we went for Christmas this year. We had a busy holiday season and Savannah got WAY too much stuff of course, but she's still enjoying every bit of it. She really enjoyed opening presents this year, but it was a little overwhelming for her to get so much stuff, I think. Enjoy all the pictures!

School Christmas Program

This is from Savannah's Christmas program at school. She never opened her mouth once to sing, even though she'd sing Christmas carols around the house all the time. But then the boy behind her bumped into her and made her trip down on the next step and she lost it. So the teacher had to hold her the rest of the time. Oh well. At least it lasted long enough for me to get a picture.

New Baby Cousin

On December 7, my brother and his wife welcomed their new daughter, Taylor Alexis. This is Savannah's only first cousin. She's been awaiting her arrival for months now, so she was excited to finally get to meet her. She would love to just hold her by herself and hug and kiss her all over, so we have to watch her and help her out a little bit.

Opryland Hotel

Savannah actually sat in Santa's lap this year without crying. She never smiled, but at least she was willing to sit there long enough for a picture We talked about it so much beforehand to prepare her, so maybe that's what helped.

Flower Girl

Savannah was in her first wedding back in November. It was Michael's brother's wedding and she did great. She got to walk down the aisle with her cousin Abby, who she loves, so she did just fine. I don't have any good group pictures of the whole wedding party since Michael and I were both in it, but here's a few of Savannah that I managed to take. The last one is her on the dance floor. She loved running and twirling around on the dance floor.
