We've had the perfect weather to play outside lately.

Savannah LOVES our dogs and I was finally able to

Where does the time go??

I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted anything. I really have good intentions and I have tons of pictures to post, but haven't been able to find the time to just sit down and do it. So just to warn everyone, there are lots of new pictures this time, b/c I had so many. It made it really hard to narrow it down to which ones to put on here.
Part of the reason we've been so busy is that we bought a house. We closed on it at the end of January, but then spent almost every night for the next two weeks painting and doing lots of little things before we moved in. We moved about two weeks ago and are starting to feel settled.
Savannah hasn't seemed to notice much change in her new environment. This house does have stairs and she likes to climb them every chance she gets. I can hardly take my eye off her or she'll be into something she shouldn't be. She LOVES dogs. That's defintely the word she uses the most. It doesn't matter if it's a real dog, a dog on TV or just a picture of a dog, she always notices and says dog over and over. She also says mama whenever she wants me. That usually ends up being when she's tired, but it's soooo sweet. She'll climb up the back up my legs wanting me to pick her up saying mama, mama.
Savannah also loves to read. She has several favorites that she would like to read over and over. I'm amazed at how children her age love books. I hope that she continues to enjoy them as she grows up.
We had her 9 month dr. visit a couple weeks ago and she weighed 19 lbs., 7 oz. and was 28 inches long. Both of those were in the 50-75 percntile which is a change for her. We're used to her being in the 95th percentile!
I'm going to try to do better about posting on a regular basis, but for now enjoy all the pics!

This was Savannah's first time to eat spaghetti. What a mess!

8 Months Old

I can't believe it. Savannah will be 8 months old tomorrow. In the last couple weeks she has become much more mobile. She's also pulling up on everything she can find and trying to climb things. She doesn't like to sit still anymore at all! And it seems like it just happened overnight. One day she wasn't pulling up on anything and the next, it was like she was an old pro figuring it all out. We haven't lowered the crib yet, but it's defintitely time. You can see some of this in the pictures below.
