Here are several pictures from our first Christmas with Savannah. She seemed to enjoy it as much as you could expect for a 7 month old. Of course, she got tons of stuff because the grandmother's can't resist buying all the cute things they see. It's a good thing we're moving into a bigger house so that we'll have a place for all these new things! And we still have one more family Christmas this coming weekend.
In other news, we think Savannah has said her first word and it is...........dog. My brother started trying last weekend to get her to say it and he swore she was saying it, so all week, i've been showing her a picture of our dogs and we've been practicing. Now, everytime we get the picture out, she says it. Of course there's not always a "g" sound on the end, but she says the first part always. (In case you're wondering why I'm showing her a picture instead of the real dogs, it's because Chloe is in heat, so they're both locked up way behind the house. it's dark and freezing by the time i get home with her, so we can't walk up there to see them).
We're so excited! Now if she'll only start saying mama and dada and actually know who she's talking about!

So I'm a little behind, but these pictures are from Christmas with my mom's family this past weekend. I just love how Savannah is checking out the tree in this picture.

I haven't taken very many pictures in the last week or so, but here's a couple from last week. You can see Savannah's new top teeth in one of these pictures. She actually has 3 upper teeth which have all come in within the past 3 weeks. AND...the 4th one is about to pop through any day now! What a trooper she is though. They rarely seem to even bother her.
